Shediac International Flea Market vending terms & conditions

 

  1. Vendors are encouraged to have automotive or antique related items for sale on their spaces

  2. Vendors are NOT PERMITTED to sell food or beverages on their spaces

  3. Vendors are NOT PERMITTED to sell or display restricted items on their spaces – (i.e) Any device that would launch a projectile, knifes with blades 5’’ in length, firearms, crossbows, air rifles and pellet guns

  4. Vendors are NOT PERMITTED to solicit monies for charity or sell draw tickets from their spaces, without written permission from Shediac International Flea Market

  5. No tattooing or piercing of body parts permitted

  6. Pets must be always on a leash

  7. All vendors must be able to fit all items within the confines of their space. Space are outdoor 30’ x 20’ depth, with a limited number of hydro sites available. Vendors are prohibited from operating or parking vehicles in the aisles during show hours. Any vehicle found parked other than on their vending site will be removed at the owner’s expense

  8. ALL VENDORS AND ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE EVENT PASSES to enter or re-enter the site. (2 passes are issued per site. Extra passe are available for $10.00 ea.)

Lot ALLOCATION     

 

 Lots will be assigned on a first come-first-serve basis as registrations and full payments are received.

 

Power source if you are cooking: ____________________

Note:  Vendors must provide their own awnings or umbrellas if desired.  Exact space boundaries will be clearly marked.  Vendors are not to exceed their assigned space.  Vendors who are cooking on the premises must have a fire extinguisher.  No open fires are allowed.

 

Vendors must set up between 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday, July 13, Friday, July 14 9:00 am-8:00 pm, Saturday July 15 9:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sunday, July 16. 9:00 am-3:00 pm. 

Any vendor leaving before these times on any day will jeopardize his/her participation in subsequent Shediac International Flea Markets.  Vendors selling items other than those listed on their application and approved by Shediac International Flea Market officials will be asked to leave immediately.

 

If this application is accepted by Embou Productions Inc, the undersigned vendor hereby agrees to occupy the space applied for, offer for sale an ample supply of the items described herein and have all the licenses and permits required by law. 

 

Please note that all new vendors who were not with us in 2022 will be put on a waiting list and will only be assigned a lot after March 1st, 2023. New vendors will be assigned   their lots in order of the date we have received it

Waivers

 

Vendor agrees:

 

(1)   that neither Shediac International Flea Market, Embou Productions Inc, its agents, or employees nor the Town of Shediac shall be liable for any claims, loss, or damages with respect to the property of vendor or of vendor’s agents or employees nor the Town of Shediac shall be obligated to protect or safeguard the property of vendor or of vendor’s agents or employees; and

 

(2)   to indemnify and hold Shediac International Flea Market, Embou Productions Inc, its agents of employees and the Town of Shediac, or any of them, harmless from any liability for any claims, loss, or damage with respect to the property of vendor or of the vendor’s agents or employees occasioned by theft, loss, damage, act of God or any other reason whatsoever. 

 

(3)   Vendor further agrees to indemnify and hold Shediac International Flea Market, Embou Productions Inc, its agents or employees and the Town of Shediac harmless from any liability for any claims, loss or damage arising from the acts or omissions of vendor or vendor’s agents or employees.

 

All fees are due with the application. 

 

Vendors must meet this deadline, or they will not be permitted on the grounds.  Space rental fees will not be refunded once Embou Productions Inc has accepted this application.  No refunds will be given in the event of a breach of this contract.
